After viewing our recent Nopan News segment about the link between panties and climate change, the administration, faculty, and students at North High School unanimously endorsed new dress code changes to do their part to help fight global warming. To mark the momentous occasion, they also produced a video and submitted it to us to air. The Night Owl Public Access Network (N.O.P.A.N.) is committed to broadcasting publicly produced content that meets the station’s Nopan standards. This video took much, much longer than I expected. The skirt on the original Haruhi model was causing a lot of clipping issues, and my initial attempts to fix it didn’t work very well. I ended up re-rigging the skirt to fix the problems I was encountering. I also edited the motion’s left arm and hand position slightly to fix some other clipping problems. For the stage, I made a few edits such as splitting the upper lights from the hanging lights to allow them to use autoluminous, moving a chair for the zoom under shot, and changing up the chalkboard’s content.I experimented a bit with some different effects such as o_diffusion, o_SelfOverlay, and o_LikeHDR. The overall image seemed more vivid and colorful with these effects. The stage floor ended up being brighter and more orange than I would have preferred, but I decided to leave it that way.I was going to use the 96Neko cover version of the song for this, but it seemed like the lip motions didn’t sync as well, so I stayed with the original version instead.Since others may want to try the updated skirt version of the model, here is the download for it:http://tstorage.info/zr2wdwpb23zaHere is the camera motion I used plus an alternate version without the chalkboard intro:http://tstorage.info/mz0gzcyuow1eEnjoy!
